I was a friend of Bruce from the USAF and later as civilians in Ohio/Michigan. We last spent time together when he came to visit me, my spouse and young family in Juneau, Alaska in 1984. A year later I tried contacting him and the phone number was no longer valid as with the mailing address that I had. For thirty years I've periodically tried to locate Bruce and/or his sisters with no success. So, it was with great sadness that I discovered his obituary during one of my random attempts. This past October I was in Missoula.........so close yet so far. It's obvious from the narrative that he had a very rich and fulfilling life. I am so thrilled about all he accomplished, it is quite a legacy. I will always cherish the good times we had together long ago. My deepest condolences to his wife, Heather, his Montana "family" and his sisters, Lynne and Kay.
